Chaz is recurring as “Vicente Cruz” in Netflix’s new, hit show, Bloodline. Recently named a 2017 “Revolutionary in Residence” at Colonial Williamsburg, VA. His nationally televised, one-person play Yo Solo… , was distributed by PBS from 2012-14. It won the Freedom Foundation’s “George Washington Honor Medal for Media” and official, Congressional Recognition in 2014. Chaz is the host of This Moment in Florida History,” a time-line of 50, one-minute episodes in Florida history in both English and Spanish, celebrating Florida’s 500-year anniversary on all PBS stations in Florida.
He’s recently co-starred opposite Kyle Chandler on Sony/Netflix’s Bloodline. Has worked opposite Mark Wahlberg in Pain No Gain, as “Andrew Thompson” on Season 9 of Burn Notice on Lifetime, as “Rafael Mendez” on Magic City on Starz, and “Dr. Hunter” in Graceland (Starz). His Spanish-language work includes recurring as “Agent Scott” in Lucia’s Secrets (Venevision, 2014) and as “Larson” on Criminal Master Mind (Venevision, 2015.)

Chaz divides his time between New York and Florida. He is a published poet in some leading poetry journals around the country and has written four, 1-person shows that he performs at any given time. He is most proud of his 20-year marriage to Ileana Musa Mena and being a dad to his daughter, Anabella Mena. He is represented by the Avalon Artists Group in New York City and Los Angeles, CA.
